Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) and ADHD
18 month old crying uncontrollably at night
I have a friend with an 18 month old son who has been crying uncontrollably at night for a few months. He goes to bed at 8 PM and sleeps until about 11:30 where he wakes up and starts the crying and pretty much cries until about 3 AM. They’ve tried everything from diet changes to letting him cry to letting him sleep in their bed. The mother is at her wits end and is need of some serious R&R. I mentioned weighted blankets and she tried a heavy quilt. He still woke up.
Do you have any suggestions that might help out?
