You may need medicine but if you really do not want it you can call healers who do not use medicine. There are many kinds of healers who use diet, supplements and other things to treat. Go to one you trust.

Dear John, thanks a lot! Im shocked, but glad to be diagnosed ,because I didnt know what happened before.I would like more information about alternative treatments.  I was thinking of having control ,but really I havent! Despite of feeling better WITH ME than before,  some moments I feel totally disorganised, nervous, confused ,without mind, with no way to act, move ..like to be so far of me..isolated of my willness..my symptoms worse a lot now in my middle age.

You are welcome.

The good news is that you can make some adjustments, alter diet a little, find a good healer or two and improve these symptoms quite a lot.

Here’s some information on alternative treatments for ADHD:
http://www.additudemag.com/resource-center/adhd-treatment-alternatives.html
http://www.additudemag.com/resource-center/adhd-nutrition-diet.html

They are helpful for ADHD for some individuals.

As for bipolar, my understanding is that it’s a lot more difficult to treat without medication. Here’s a good overview on distinguishing and treating both ADHD and BPD: http://www.additudemag.com/adhd/article/2511.html.

No matter which treatment path your choose, working with a physician is important.
