ADHD son adjusting to marriage breakup
Keywords:

My husband and I have decided to end our marriage.  We don’t have any hard feelings toward one another and plan on doing whatever it takes to make this transition as easy as possible for our 10 year old son.  We plan on sharing custody and both being very active in his life.

I was wondering if anyone has been in this situation and how did their ADHD child handle it.  I know this is hard for any child to experience, but I was hoping the ADHD wouldn’t add to any more anxiety for him?

Anyway you split there will be changes. I would suggest getting some help from a professional. Best wishes for your family.
