ADHD in New York

Any support groups for us upstaters?

I live in a small town, and a few people tried to start a group, but it only met once a month, the facilitator kept forgetting to send out reminders, and usually only two or three people showed up.  I gave up after three meetings.

It’s a big state, and I’m a long way from the city.  Any groups in Ithaca?  Binghamton?  Rochester?  Syracuse?

I am in Rochester and may be interested in meeting as well.

I live in Ithaca, I’m a therapist and ADHD coach, though I’m right on the edge of retirement.  I’ve known of some support groups over the years, but don’t know of any currently (although I’ll admit I haven’t checked very recently).  I sometimes think about starting one (beginning with a facilitator and then, hopefully, continuing on without maybe?) but it would be helpful to have enough people and there rarely are enough at any one time.  I would check with Dr. Monastra’s clinic in Endicott to see if he knows of any at the moment.

Any groups in Buffalo, NY?

I live in Syracuse and would love to meet with others, by starting a group, or having social outings to discuss everyday issues we all might have in common. I am 55 years old, recently relocated from PA and am currently not working, which gives me the time to try and arrange some meetings if others are interested? I have so much I would like to share with others! I believe we can help and inspire each other.
