If he has a learning disability, his ADHD/Inattentive Type symptoms and needs such as organizational skills, perserverance, and accomodations such as a friend to be sure he has assignments, books, etc. before he goes home, preferential seating, taking tests in a quiet place, having homework quantity reduced if he understands it, etc. may not have been covered in his present IEP. Google “ADHD accomodations” for more help.Go to the meeting armed with knowledge. Or bring along someone who can support you.
