ADHD and College and Higher Education


I am 32 been in college for over a year in radiology school.But having trouble focusing on what to study in science courses. Currently waiting on meds but how do I know what meds are right for me?



There is no one “right” medication for ADHD. There is also no way to really predict exactly which medication will work best for each individual. Some people respond better to one class of stimulant or the other. Some people can benefit from either, and some don’t benefit from ADHD medication at all. It’s really a trial and error procedure to find the right medication for you.

Talk with your doctor about trying medication and take his/her advice on where to start. This article can provide some guidance as well:
