Concerta and getting pregnant
Hello .my name is spyros and I am getting Concerta 18mg for 4years .Concerta helps me a lot .the thing is that I want to have a child with my wife and I am afraid if Concerta will cause us problems .I asked my doctor but he really don’t know .there is no evidence he told me about this issue .my wife is telling me to stop Concerta 3months earlier before we start trying and continue after having the child .I agree with her but I can’t work as well as I want with out it ! Does anyone know about Concerta and pregnancy .

Ok, I’m not a doctor. So please don’t take this as advice that is coming from a doctor…
But I don’t think that your medication would have as much of an effect on conception as it would if your WIFE was taking this medication.
I don’t know of too many medications that affect sperm quality and count (besides marijuana, alcohol, some anti-depressants?, steroids and maybe some herbal supplements or other non-ADD related medications).
I think you should be ok to stay on your meds
