Does she or doesnt she??
Keywords:

I have a 4 year old (will be 5 in March) that seems to have ADHD. No health Ins until April due to a change in jobs.  Places I have called , do not take kids until 6 years of age. What criteria are there for kids of this age? I cant determine her focus on school work , it takes her 3 min and its coloring. She is quiet in school and well behaved maybe a tad shy. Please give me some direction until I can get a professional opinion in March?

Call your school district’s Child Find program in the Special Education Department. At a parent’s request, they will do an evaluation - and all services are free. They start working with kids at age 3, once they age-out of public early intervention program. They work with the younger kids so that they’ll be adequately prepared for entering the public school system. (...all areas in the States have these programs - they can just be called different things.)
