ESP or awareness of energy with us ADHD peeps

There was a thread here about energy and ESP tendencies with ADHD, but I can’t find it…. Moving on to my question: does anyone seem to have an awareness of energy or psychic tendencies??? How about intuition???

I do. Once I levitated my grandmother and she got stuck in the ceiling fan. Now I try to keep my special powers to myself.  JK! I couldn’t resist!

Yes I do… I’m a genealogist and the energy of past family members surrounds me. I will be working on one person for hours. Then a special date will be found and it will be anniversary of current date or within a day or two. This has happened often over the past 11 years of my genealogy research.
I find it very interesting. As for ESP my mother and I have had that with each other over the past 50 years.

I actually do think this - there are times I think about my mom and then she calls a few seconds later…

Too funny, as I have the same sort of “energy.” First started as a little girl, when my neighbor’s dog went missing. But it was mostly eerie. With my friends, we biked around searching for the poodle. Up at local park, in the rain, this thunderbolt rattled my mind. I yelled out, “the creek!”  However instead of running down park hill to that creek, I rode all the way back to our neighborhood. The creek runs behind every single house on one side of street. I immediately went to my friend’s backyard (she lived across the street from me). I ran directly to a spot on the ledge and looked over a few feet. There in the creek, dead, was my neighbor’s elderly little dog. She was mostly blind and must have fell. :( Devastated. But mainly so disturbed yet energized at the entire experience. Never have I had a “feeling” THAT strong since, I’ve had dreams. Most recent was the mini tsunami that happened last year sometime. Two nights before I had a dream so real that I actually felt the huge ocean waves rushing behind me ready to swallow me up. It was that moment of terror…like when someday if death is eminent.  I hadn’t heard about that small tsunami until my husband had forgot to tell me after my dream, it had occurred. Prior to that, I had a similar dream…it was before the Tsunami that hit Asia. OOOOEEEEOOOOO. So weird!

I absolutely think there is, I joke and say that the H stands for hypersensitive. I can always tell when my partner is having a bad day even when I cant see him, same for my children.

Mowgirl, I love your sense of humor.!!! I have been able to tell where a tropical system will go….but it doesn’t work with all storms, just some storms. Sometimes during tornado season, I’ll get this feeling there’s a tornado on the ground somewhere in tornado alley. Sometimes I’m right. Sometimes I’m not. Oddly enough, this only works with warm weather systems, not cold weather systems.

Do any of you feel the strong deja vu feeling?  There are times where it comes on so strong for me - places where it doesn’t feel logical - like a trip I took to London once - I got slightly lost in Stratford-upon-Avon and instead of panicking I just walked with confidence as though I had lived there all my life…it was so strange!

I used to ask questions about theoretical situations on the weather channel blog, and a few days or weeks later, the situation I had asked about would verify…. Last time I asked TWC about something was in May of 2013. I had asked what the minimum convective temperature required for a supercell to produce a violent tornado…. Then came Moore ok, 2013, followed by a bunch of tornadoes, in that two and a half week span, which included Bennington! Kansas, and El Reno, ok. I no longer ask them about stuff like that… It has a screwy way of verifying that creeps me out.

Sometimes I do…. It always seems to concern coastal areas or islands

Dejavu happens to me all the time! I usually remember actually having a dream of what is happening. It is like my dreams coming true.

I remember once having a dream that bothered me at the time. i didnt understand it at the time. later I had the dejavu feeling and remembered the dream. It had come true.

Yes, I am sensitive to people’s feelings and sometimes even have the feeling of ‘reading their minds’ which I think is really noticing micro-expressions, which most people don’t.  But I’m sensitive to when a women gets pregnant, often before she knows, and often predict who will be on the phone.  I have particular connections with some people and not with others.  I have had precursor feelings about some big events in our history, too, since I was a child, and also about certain things in my own life.

I know people who claim to be pshycic. I’m not pshyics and i have the combination add/adhd. However to my understanding ADHD/ADD brains picks up alot more information from the suroundings than NT people, because of the lack of the filtering ability which NT people seem to possess at a higher degree.

Yesterday I saw a program on remote viewing and such things. The leaders of the remote viewing program at CIA claimed that he got a hightened percetion while being in the djungels of vietnam. The program also claimed that indigenous people that lives very close to nature has or develoipes some kind of hightened perception.

Due the fact that ADD/ADHD brains seem to pick up more information from the surroundings than normal people, perhaps it due to this fact could be assumed that peolple with ADD/ADHD are more likely to possess ESP abiltiies, if this ability is assumed to rely on an ability to pick up signals from your surroundings.
