ADHD in New Jersey

Education Advocate in Burlington Co Area
Keywords:

Hi! I’m new here. Our son has a new Dx of ADHD but we were holding off on medication trial until after formal evals through CST. Not so lucky. Our district is fighting us tooth and nail. I am curious if anyone has been through the Mediation/Due Process for NJ? Also, anyone have any education advocate info?
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Burlington Twp. Is very inconsistent in dealing effectively with children with Add/adhd. My Son was diagnosed in 4th grade and he is now in the 8th. I fight with them every year just to receive proper services thru his 504. Ive heard other similar horror stories.  Terrible.
