Help! Is this how "normal" people feel?

So I started Vyvanse today. My head is so calm and at peace… It’s not reacting too strongly to anything. I’m just… relaxed. Is this normal, or am I turning into a zombie? I usually feel really intensely, and right now I’m just not. What’s up with this? Is it a good thing? I’m being really productive!

I take Vyvanse, and this is how I feel as well.  I am so calm, and productive all day, but, when I’m off of it…I become spastic and forgetful, and “adhd-ish”. I wouldn’t say you are turning into a zombie. But, I do advise you to just be aware of your actions and moods to make sure you don’t turn into a zombie. But, I highly doubt you are! smile

I would bet you aren’t a zombie…instead, your brain has been so conditioned to react be a certain way, and now the medicine is blocking that reaction and allowing you to feel calm, which isn’t normal for you quite yet. Over time, it will be. Enjoy your “new normal”!
