Just for laughs

At least I hope you can find the humorous side of ADD once and a while.
I have a tee shirt that I like to wear to visits to my rheumatologist, cause it always makes him laugh, it say’s ‘I don’t have ADD It is just that….Oh! look a bunny rabbit”. I know it’s an oldie but a goodie. I often tell people I have ADOS, and when they ask me what it stands for, I say ” attention deficit….Oh! Shiny.
So now at home whenever I do something stupid I just tell my wife that Ol” Shiny showed up again.
I find these jokes on us kind of a fun way to cheer yourself up when you need to. I found a few others that I would like to share with you , then I would please like for you to tell me the best ADD sayings you have.

“It takes talent to spell a word more than one way”

“ADD….it’s not just for kid’s anymore”

“Man I just love my ADD, it always reminds me about how much I don’t remember”

“I,m sorry I wasn’t paying attention to what I was saying”

I know there are some better jokes out there and I want to hear them.

Good ones, for sure!  Old jokes never lose their “punch” with ADDers because we “forget” what we were trying to remember anyway…  Ha!

Currently, I am 67 an was diagnosed at age 50.  Many of my friends and some who are older, say that they have CRS” which translates to “Can’t Remember Stuff”.  I smile and say that I have had that for years under a different title, “Whoops!  There goes my ADDiture—again!”

Why not have some fun with it.  I have sure provided others with some laughs when some of the “highlights” of my ADD are really displayed.  LOL

Enjoy it!  Why not?  “O’ Shiny” is great!  I am going to borrow that one!  Thanks!

I made myself a tee shirt years ago that said “la-la land is not just a state of mind….it’s my address!”

Back when I thought hubby was the only afflicted party because only the typical hyperactive boy was “Classic ADHD” (instead of the reality, an entire family of 4) I bought one of my sons a t-shirt in kindergarten because it just seemed so “perfect” for him:

“Lost in outer space…
Please send a search party.”

Can’t think of any jokes, but thanks for making me laugh.

The best shirt I’ve seen says:  “I don’t have an Attention Deficit, I’m just not paying attention to YOU.”

They say that us folk with ADHD are promiscuous.  Unfortunately, I wasn’t paying attention when they said it.

How many ADHD-ers does it take to screw in a lightbulb?  We usually screw in pairs no matter where we do it.  We don’t have the attention span for group sex.

“George, you cannot possibly have attention deficit disorder.  George?  ... George….”
