Sleep Issues and ADHD

Nanny of an 11 year old with ADHD and sleep problems
Keywords:

Okay so I began nannying for a family a few months ago and the oldest is an 11 year old boy who has ADHD. I spend 12+ hours with him and his sister everyday beginning at 6 am when I wake him up for school. This is one of the hardest tasks of my day. I always ask what time he went to bed and then I ask what time he actually went to sleep and he usually says around 1-2 am. He is a gifted student in his first year of middle school and the stress of school and lack of sleep is drastically affecting his grades. I need advice on ways to help him fall asleep at night. His mother has agreed to let me research some techniques and she is going to help in any way possible so any techniques, remedies, or routines that have been successful would be much appreciated!!
