HI Wendy,

Thanks for posting. My advice would be to first take care of yourself.  If you suspect you have ADHD - then do all you can to find out more about this condition.  There are some excellent books (try Dr. Russell Barkley’s book or Ed Hallowel - both leading ADHD doctors) and make an appointment with a doctor.  We have had great success with medicine for our son.  Perhaps you might want to try that if, indeed,  you have ADHD.  I also recommend a video that you can find on this website (or just goole it on YouTube) by Dr. Russell Barkley titled “Essential Ideas for Parents”. It is an excellent overview.

Take care

Wendy,

There are several supplements that are beneficial to some individuals with ADHD. It’s best to talk with your doctor about what to take and how much, but here are some articles on the types of supplements you should talk to your doctor about, the supplements that could help ADHD:

We have found medication far more effective than any of the 20 or so supplements my son has tried.
