I have a 6 year old son was diagnosed last year and he was prescribed Strattera.  He has made amazing strides. My 5 year old son just was diagnosed yesterday and his doctor is prescribing Adderall. I have been very happy with my older sons all around adaptation to the Strattera. He eats well and has a great day everyday.  I am concerned about the Adderall.  I have not heard anything about this medication. Any input?

There’s an ADHD Medication FAQ on Adderall over on ADDitudeMag.com, found here: http://www.additudemag.com/adhd-web/article/5000.html. This will give you the basic information on Adderall.

As well, we have a thread on Adderall in the Medication & Treatment Reviews forum: http://connect.additudemag.com/forums/viewforum/108/.

Good luck!
