Just Diagnosed With ADHD (Children)
Non medication solutions
I have tried alot of things that work with my 8yo daughter. But they are only temporary fixes. I may be on my own, but I don’t want to medicate her. Open to suggestions.

I am in the same boat. My son is 7 1/2 and we’re just starting to look at meds. In the past I have tried excluding things from his diet (red dye 40) reducing gluten and dairy, etc with no success. We just tried focalin and it was failure. Now we have a script for intuniv and I’m researching and trying to decide if I want to try it. I’ve done a lot of research on alternative non-medicinal treatments and unfortunately have always come up pretty empty. I really prefer not to medicate but am feeling like I’m running out of options.
