ADHD Adults

Sharing a poem...that I wrote!

So, since my ADHD brain is being exceptionally overactive and downright sloppy these days, I wanted to do something to feel a release…so, here is my first ever attempt at a poem about my ADHD…enjoy…and if I can muster the focus…I think I will write more smile

I break a glass, ok four
I slipped again and banged the door
Bruises and bumps
A scrape a scratch
What next idea will I hatch

This morning I thought
I can change the world
Then I thought…
Not today

The low just came
And dulled my shine
I can so resent this brain of mine

I like it.
I don’t usually read poems as they are too tedious to get through.
For some reason, I can relate to this one.
