Successful diets

I have been successful following Tim Ferris’s Slow Carb Diet from “The Four Hour Body” . Reasons For success are the following:
1. It requires a “binge” day after 6 dsys on the diet. I do not feel deprived since I can eat ANYTHING I want on my cheat day.
2. It suggests keeping meals simple, eating the same     4 or 5 meals over and over.

3. You do not count calories.
4. You can eat meat, vegetables, and beans & legumes.

My boyfriend will wake up in the morning planning dinner. It drives me nuts! I don’t want to think about food because as soon as I do I want to eat. I have gained a horrible amount of weight in the past 2 years (75 lbs) and I am at my ropes end. If I could just put what I am going to eat in my lunch box and only eat that I would be fine, I think. I am going to look up this Tim Ferris and see if it will work for me.

Those four simiple meal plans are so easy and simiple however, would these four plans work with some one who is ADHD and is a stroke victum along with being a diabetic sdult? My story is that I take care of my mother who been diagnose with ADHD in the year of 1998; however, in the of 2007, she got, agian, diagnose with the health problem of being a Diabetic. Next, two years later July 2009, she had serveal stroking attact hitting her all at once. Now, she has a different diet she need to live off of.

While, I have another diet that is not good for her. I can’t eat any diary products, but she can. And what makes it worst, is that I am also an adult with ADHD with being a dyslexic person. So the question is: is there a balance with all have these problems with being ADHD, diabetes, and have two different diets?

Tim Ferris, who wrote the “4 Hour Body” would probably say that one should experiment with things that he has found, “slow carb” diet being one part. You can find a bunch of extra info on the website where blogs are located. An example is to eat 30 grams of protein within the first 30 minutes of awakening. Another is to first drink a glass of cold water first, and before each meal. These things increase metabolism, causing you to burn more calories. Try not to be defeated by what you cannot do, but attempt those things you can do. I have read lately that legumes, beans, have all sorts of ingredients favorable to good health. The 4HB diet stresses lean meat, beans, and green vegetables. Leaving starches like bread, pasta, rice and potatoes out of your diet will likely have a positive effect on your weight, especially along with the ideas I mentioned earlier. Remember, one day per week you can eat ANYTHING you want.

I tried Weight Watchers. My non-ADD friends have lost alot of weight WW.  But I cannot write down everything I eat.  There is a way to follow Weight Watchers without writing everything down, but I need a partner, someone who understands the challenge of routine for a ADD adult. My birds and dog eat sensibly however.

I have ADHD and had found no way of getting myself to stop eating carbs.  I was frusturated because I was putting on weight faster than I could take it off.
As a result of doing this diet,  http://www.yourreguvenation.com
I have accomplished the following:

1.  I have Spinia Bifidia in my lower limbs, I have now with weight lost can be steadier, have better balance and walk a better gait.
2. Loss 10 lbs, no cravings for sweet and carbs.

3.  This diet has giving me a life I never had before. Interested in looking good and wanting to dress nicely.  I was able to stay on the diet see results and have a better self esteem and

I did found in my 58 year a weight loss program that has helped me regulate my metabolism ( removed Cravings for carbs) and removes toxicity in your system. I lost 10 lbs in the month, after that you go on maintenance diet for 3 weeks to balance out the metabolism.
You eat 500 calories a day and use natural product of drops to help remove the fat cells that has been stored for years.

Well, Thanksgiving has passed, and I gained about 6 lbs! This week I have been more conscious of what I eat, and am down 4 of those pounds. I work out with a personal trainer 2 times per week, and walk 30-45 minutes on a treadmill 3 times per week. I think it is important never to give up, to let gaining a few pounds give me permission to give up. Rather, I want to accept that I am not perfect, and will gain sometimes, but then eat right and lose those pounds. Being healthy is important for my quality of life, and a few pounds is not going to defeat my attempts to be healthier!
