My sister who is schzoaffective takes tegratol. I thought it was for seizures due to her taking haldol. She is not ADD.

I am both and took the two together for years. It worked OK for me. Tegratol is a mood stabilizer so as long as you are at a therapeutic dose (which is determined by occasional blood levels) it should work well. I am currently in the middle of a med change but it is more because I was on too much adderall and because I have inattentive ADD, not ADHD, it made my anxious and irratable.
