Time for me to take control!
Keywords:

Feeling like ADD has taken it’s control over me way to long time for me to get a life. I am the only one that can make that happen, depression, disorganization and clutter soon to be gone…... I am in a new state, a new house, the time is now.

I’ve been thinking about moving to another state also, well been thinking about it for years. I was wondering the same thing, could this be a new beginning for me too will it work please keep us updated, I could use some positive input also.

Hope your moving to a warm state because cold states are know to give add/adhd peeps depression and axiety.  While warm states give us that vitamin D feel good about life feeling.  Best of Luck

This is kind of funny - I started to comment, then I got stressed out because I’m overwhelmed about what I need to get done today & felt like, “Cripes! You don’t have time to be playing on the internet!!!”  ANYWAY, I will take the time because I need to vent.  I love the idea of heading South - my husband & I plan to retire in about 6-7 yrs. to a sunny climate, far away from the city, on a lake - where we can live the SIMPLE LIFE!  I live for that day!  I currently travel to Kansas City weekly to take care of my 91 yr old mother… I hate the city!  And winter does not help - nor the hustle & bustle of Christmas - so stressful!

Where did you hear about cold states giving adhd peeps depression?  I diagnosed my self (with the help of well meaning friends) with Seasonal depression disorder about 20 years ago, so bad that last winter I sold my house over night and moved 500 miles away just to be in the sun. I have severe ADHD which I finally put a label on about 5 years ago.  I never thought about a connection.
