Tips needed for EFD

I have been dealing with adhd over the past 3 years mainly. Medications do not work as my body adapts to the meds quickly. Through my own research, I believe my main problem is Executive Function Disorder. My problems seem to origionate from EFD alone. I know what I have to do from a nutrition standpoint but am unable to initiate healthy eating. I have not worked since the beginning of December although I know I need money very badly. I just sit in front of the TV to put my mind in neutral so to speak. Are there people on the board that specialize in EFD? Or anyone that can recommend tips to move forward? I am not in a state of depression, nor have I given up. I am just at a complete stall. Anyone?

You’re depressed. Trust me. I felt like you a few months ago and am now on Prozac. The turn around is amazing.

Here’s the link to the webinar @Bob from Cootamundra mentioned: http://issuu.com/actwebmaster/docs/wncparentfeb2014/5?e=1003679/6674492.

Here’s more on executive function impairment from Dr. Thomas E. Brown on ADDitudeMag.com, too: http://www.additudemag.com/q&a/ask_the_add_medical_expert/7228.html.

If you can, see a therapist—they may be able to get you moving forward and on the right path.
