Parents of ADHD Children

What are you thankful for?

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I thought it would be nice to have a thread full of positives about our children with ADHD. What are you thankful for about your child? Could be their spirit, meeting behavior goals, what they excel at, etc. Feel free to list more than one thing! grin

That he is super kind and he loves me

I am thankful for my son’s super kind spirit as well. At the dinner table on Thanksgiving, our family was remarking about how much he has matured and how well-behaved my son is. I didn’t start the conversation either. I’m sure I was grinning from ear to ear. Felt great to know other people we seeing a positive difference too!

Great post!  Sometimes it’s so hard to think of the positives when you’re surrounded by negative behaviour. I am thankful for my son’s love, his curiosity, his love of the outdoors and his willingness to move forward when times get tough!

I’m so thankful and amazed at my son’s ability to think outside the box.

I’m thankful for my daughter’s free spirited personality and my son’s selfless nature.
