Just Diagnosed With ADHD (Children)

just diagnosed

My son is 7 and has just been diagnosed with ADHD. Though it has not affected him academically he does have impulsive issues   sometimes causing play dates to be cut short and he has trouble letting things go. He is argumentative both at home and at school. We just started on 5mg of adderal but not sure what I am looking for to know if it is working. Can anyone share with me their experience with this drug or any others that have helped their child? Any help we can get will help my husband and I. I feel like I am a lone fish swimming in a huge pond.
