Sleep Issues and ADHD

theta wave intrusion-anyone had these type of issues

Years ago I was diagnosed with fibromalgia when one of my issues was falling asleep while driving and during the day- but having insomnia ADD style at night.
Now here is an article in Additude on sleep issues that goes into detail on this. At 50 and newly diagnosed with ADD this is another aha moment.
I have heard there is a link between fibro and ADD( chicken or the egg type relationship),  anyway it is all about the brain and how and why it does things.
What has been your issues? and what have you done about it?
My Dr. gave me Provigl but it was too much long term for me to take. Now I don’t drive long distances alone and take what I can for sleep.
